Meet The Owner & Master Stylist

I am the proud Founder and Owner of Salon Seven, Restore Hair Care and The CEU Academy. I am a Licensed Master Cosmetologist, Licensed Cosmetology Instructor, Certified Hair Loss Practitioner, and Certified Associate Trichologist with over 35 years of experience in the hair care and beauty industry.

In 1997, I graduated Magna Cum Laude from Morris Brown College in Atlanta, Georgia, earning a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources. Following graduation, I spent nearly ten years in corporate America as a Human Resources Manager, successfully climbing the corporate ladder. Despite my professional success, I knew entrepreneurship was my true calling, and my passion for hair was undeniable.

While working full-time in Human Resources, I pursued cosmetology education in the evenings and obtained my cosmetology license from Chattahoochee Technical College in Marietta, Georgia in 2000. In 2002, I opened Salon Seven, founded on a mission to provide professional, healthy hair care services.

As my career progressed, I became widely recognized as a Healthy Hair Care Advocate, with a deep passion for educating and motivating others on proper hair care practices. This passion led me back to school at Empire Beauty School in Kennesaw, Georgia, where I earned my Cosmetology Instructor license in 2011. I went on to teach in the private sector for nearly three years, educating aspiring cosmetologists and beauty professionals.

While teaching, I realized my desire to expand beyond the classroom and provide continuing education to licensed professionals through both hands-on and online learning. This vision led to the launch of Salon Seven Training Academy in 2014, now known as The CEU Academy. In 2018, the academy became a Georgia State Board–approved Continuing Education (CE) Provider for the Georgia State Board of 

Cosmetology and Barbers.

Committed to advancing my expertise, I pursued specialized education in hair loss and scalp disorders at the U.S. Trichology Institute, becoming a Certified Hair Loss Practitioner in 2019. During the global pandemic in 2020, I returned to the Institute to further my studies and earned my certification as a Certified Associate Trichologist. This advanced training equipped me with in-depth knowledge of the nutrients, vitamins, and clinical solutions proven to restore and promote healthy hair and scalp. That knowledge inspired the creation of Restore Hair Care, founded in 2020—a professional hair care product line formulated to promote and maintain healthy hair and scalp.

Throughout my career, I have remained deeply committed to education, mentorship, and community involvement. My professional accomplishments include serving as a Contract Hair Stylist for KidsPeace, participating in the Cosmetology Youth Apprenticeship Program for Douglas County Schools, speaking annually at Career Day events in Douglas and Cobb County Schools, mentoring through the MATCH Program, partnering with Douglas County Partners in Education, and maintaining active membership in the Professional Beauty Association and Bronner Business Institute. I have also served as a long-term substitute Cosmetology Instructor for the Douglas County School System and am a Georgia Licensed Notary Public.

With a strong foundation in industry education, hands-on experience, and business development, my mission is to help beauty professionals start, grow, and scale their businesses by providing current, affordable, and accessible continuing education resources, online courses, and professional training.
